Chinese fried rice

                                                                Chinese fried rice


 Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup green capsicum
  • 1/4 cup red capsicum
  • 1/4 cup cabbage
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup spring onion
  • 1/4 cup carrots
  • 1 egg,beaten, seasoned with salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce(optional)
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  •  salt
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Pinch of sugar


Method

1.   Heat oil in a wok and add ginger garlic paste and onion, roast it for 30 seconds or till it becomes                                               transparent.
2.   Add carrots and cook for a minute.
3.   Now add Onion, Green Capsicum, Red Capsicum and Cabbage, and again cook for one minute.                                               (Do not overcook vegetables)
4.   Push all ingredients in wok to one side and make a room for eggs. Add in beaten eggs and                                                         scramble, but not mixed with other ingredients.
5.   When eggs are nice and fluffy cooked, tossing to mix with all other ingredients in wok.
6.   Stir in rice and soy sauce. Keep stir and tossing until every grains of rice are evenly coated with                                                soy sauce.
7.   Add vinegar and salt and mix.
8.   Stir in a small pinch of sugar and green onion;
9.   Remove from heat.
10. Chinese Fried Rice is ready.
